My Sunshine

averi

Sometimes I’m able to capture my children in a way that—despite my photographic ineptitude—will forever stick in my mind. This is one of those instances.

It’s blurry, but I don’t care. It makes me think of the way Averi still wants me to hold her like a baby in her rocking chair while we sing “You Are My Sunshine.” I’m reminded of how her reddish hair still smells like baby shampoo and how her fingers and toes still have that baby chubbiness to them.

I look at this photo and am reminded that she needs me for practically everything…but not for much longer. This picture captures what can only be described as the beginning of the end of her babyhood. Because in this photo, I can already see the makings of the woman she will become.

It’s perfect.

And I think I have just the frame for it…. Now if I can just find a place to print cheap, good-quality 12″x12″ photos.

Any suggestions?

Those sweet eyes are saying “Momma I will always be your baby girl and I will love you forever!”

That picture is absolutely stunning! Very well done!

We just got a whole bunch of pictures done from Snapfish.com, and we are really pleased with how they turned out.

Great pic! It was also nice to see her last night via Face Time so we could hear her and JJ’s cute voices as well as seeing them. Brian’s voice was cute, too. 🙂 Sorry we missed you though. Maybe we can try again soon!

Stunning photo……It captures the essence of your daughter perfectly. Love the black & white too.

The great thing about photography, it allows us to slow our lives down [a little]

    Best regards

Lovely picture. Persnickety prints are awesome for 12×12’s

That picture MUST have a frame! Some Walgreens have a printer that will make AMAZING pictures in bigger sizes as well as well as canvas prints.

Definitly frame worthy. I think in the frame 5 reasons I love being a grandma, but she is the baby and she looks too grown up to be the baby.

For printing, because that is a gorgeous image, I use mpix.com . One reason is they are reasonable have excellent choice of papers and print sizes. Bonus for you you should get them quickly because they are out of Pittsburgh, Ks.
