This post is not as much for the entertainment of my loyal readers as it is solid evidence for JJ to produce when his future therapist asks the question, “So when exactly did the nightmares begin?”
JJ will pull up his shirt sleeve to reveal the smartphone imbedded on his forearm. He’ll say, “Siri, show me the photo.”
She’ll respond the way she has since 2008. “I’m sorry, JJ. I don’t understand.”
“Dangit, Siri. SHOW ME THE PHOTO.”
“I’m sorry, JJ. I can’t understand you better just because you’re screaming.”
“Siri, I kid you not. Show me the photo or I’m switching to Android.”
“Ok, JJ. I think I found that photo.”
And then a light will pour out of his forearm and project the following image on the wall of the therapist’s office.
I took this photo at the “75 Years of Oz” exhibit at the Crown Center in Kansas City, Missouri. I highly recommend it…along with a sizable contribution to your kids’ future therapy fund.
I didn’t get a photo of Averi’s reaction to the wicked witch, but we might have to triple our contribution after that experience.
Don’t even get me started on the flying monkeys…
That movie gave me nightmares for years. I saw it the first time when I was six or seven and my Dad had to sleep with me for three or four nights. And you are absolutely correct, let’s not ever talk about those monkeys!
I don’t know what is creepier looking…Brian is channeling his inner Lollipop Guild member or the face he is looking at JJ with.
